This is our beloved Maxine, a '64 VW Beetle. We are Maxine's 3rd owner, and likely her last! We got Maxine from her 2nd owner's wife after he passed away and Maxine was left to sit in a garage for almost 20 years.

We take Maxine on vintage VW cruises with a local VW group and love just putzing around town with her. The photo is her in front of our favorite German bakery. Esther's is where my husband and I had our first date, got engaged, and have celebrated many other events such as birthdays and anniversaries.

We're still in the process of restoring her fully are having a blast along the way!
