I picked up my 1967 VW Squareback in August 2020 from Albuquerque and drove it to Carson CA to restore the type 3 front end. It was slammed with a type 1 front end. I also had some fog lights and gages installed. Since then I’ve replaced the heads after the valve guides broke down in cylinder 1 & 2. It lives at a lighthouse and I drive it daily.
