I have always had a love for Volkswagen's, and growing up some of my friends had them. I thought it would be nice to own one. As years passed , I started going to car shows and that's when I was inspired to find me one to fix up. In 1994 my wife and I was riding through the country and noticed a VW in a yard with a for sale sign on it. We pulled over and I got out and talked with the owner. We came to an agreement for 1,200 and I brought it home. It took about 6 years to get it restored to how I wanted it to look.. It is a 1973 Super Beetle and we love it. We purchased it in Kannapolis NC.
