I bought this one year ago to celebrate my 50th birthday (1970). To be honest, I was looking for a Beetle (thinking a Ghia would be out of reach for me), but found the Ghia for sale by the original owner. She kept it in great condition, only putting 36,000 miles on it. Given how well she treated the car, my restoration work has been minimal, and quite a pleasure.
