I acquired my VW in 1990. The car was originally purchased new by a college professor in Rocky Mount, NC. The second owner was a librarian in Wilson, NC. I am the third owner. I answered a newspaper ad mentioning that the car was driven to work daily by a lady librarian.

The car was in great shape, but as it has aged, I have replaced parts. I have always admired the simplicity of the early VWs and hope to keep the car as close to original as possible.
