This is my 1963 Type 113 that I've owned since 1996. My father and I spent about 3 1/2 years working on and restoring this car, with every nut & bolt receiving 100% attention to detail. It was "born" on March 14, 1963, and shipped to the United States on March 18, 1963, where it was imported into New Jersey, then eventually first sold in St. Louis, Missouri.
It currently sports a custom two-tone Sail Green & Snowberry White PPG single-stage paint job, a DubFab 5" narrowed & adjustable front beam, 1600 SP engine (for smooth cruising), and many accessories, such as Porsche 356-style fog lamps, pop-out rear windows (which are original to the car), OEM roof rack, and a "Ila Frischluftregler" (aka a "Bee Catcher" window vent). In fact, almost 100% of the car still has its original parts, including (but not limited to) all of the sheetmetal, the original wheels, seats, and window glass. Even the headlight lenses are original to the car!
