This is my 1973 Karmann Ghia. I found it for sale online and seller turned out to be a high school friend that I hadn't seen in 24 years. He was in the Air Force and brought the car back to Virginia from Hawaii. It was stock with a horrible blue paint job. I built it on a budget due to daughters' college careers ramping up. Slightly modified but very clean 1600 under the bonnet and it even has the highly sought after Autostick (try not to laugh). But it still works great so not taking it out until it dies!
