12 Volt LED Interior Dome Light Bulb

The 12 Volt LED interior dome light bulb is used in the interior dome light assembly. It also fits the glove box / map light in 1973 through 1974 Things. The dome light features 16 cool white LEDs and is brighter than a standard incandescent light bulb while using less electricity.

Note the LED light is polarity specific and will only work in one direction. If it doesn't work when installed in one direction, flip the bulb around.

The 12 volt dome light bulb can also be used in place of N177231 bulbs on earlier model VWs that have swapped to 12 volt systems.

This bulb fits our Beetle & Type 3 Dome Light Assembly our 1976-1979 Bus Dome Light Assembly as well as the aftermarket 1965-1967 Beetle Convertible and Ghia Dome Light Assembly.
