NGK BPR7ES spark plug has 14mm threads, 3/4" reach, a projected tip, and a 13/16" socket, suitable for VW engines. The projector tip runs better under all conditions than conventional spark plug tips do (which tend to shroud the spark).

This plug is the correct heat range for HOT engines, since it's two steps colder than stock.

The BP7ES is compatible with both Type 4 heads and the newer factory VW dual-port heads with longer, 3/4" threads. 1/2" reach plugs tend to strip, the 3/4" reach is an improvement.
