This is Ziggy (short for The Ziggymeister). He is a 1974 Super Beetle Convertible and has been fully restored. Ziggy was restored 16 years ago in Florida and then sold to a lady who bought it for her husband. Unfortunately the lady developed health issues and the husband needed to take care of her and the car sat for 13 years.

I bought it and the car needed an overhaul. Brakes, fuel system, engine, electrical and so on. The body was in near perfect condition but everything else needed work. It has been a loving re-restoration and he is now in excellent condition. I took him to a local VW show and he won 1st place. He is a real head turner and we get noticed everywhere we take him.
