JBugs Video Series

YouTube Channel 2021 Update:

Video Overview:

2020….that didn’t go as planned now did it? We had some fairly simple goals at the beginning of the year, and we didn’t get to half of them. The year that most people will want to forget, did afford us a lot more time for one of our goals though, and we’ve made the most of it. With that said, enjoy our wrap up and look ahead along with our take on a Christmas classic. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Video Transcript:

Hello VW fans!
2020 has been one heck of a year, hasn't it?
We started off with big hopes and looking back to February, when we last did our channel update video, to now, we can say that we only got to one out of our four goals. If you've been watching since our last channel update though, you'll see we've got a real long-distance on that one goal.
Our 1971 Super Beetle has been fully disassembled. I
t's been off to bodywork, and now back from paint, we're in the midst of reassembling it.
Our restoration is a little bit further ahead than our last video.
We've got most of the wiring installed along with a modern ATC fuse box that we've modified to work with the stock wiring harness.
Currently, we're working on the interior installing the subwoofer, amplifiers, speaker kick panels, carpet padding, and carpet.
The installation videos on those will be out soon.
We hope you've enjoyed the series so far even if the videos aren't relatable to your own project.
We're hoping to finish up the restoration soon and of course, all those videos will be coming in the upcoming new year.
We still plan a video on covering the installation of aftermarket engine tin
as well as the aftermarket wiring harness we mentioned last year. But, as 2020 has shown us, we can never be certain about what's going to happen in the future.
So, with our year in review and our look ahead complete,
we would like to finish off with a reading of "A JBugs Christmas Story":
'Twas the night before Christmas and under the carport,
all attention was focused on my German import.
I'd restored and adored it with much love and care,
and was excited that more parts from JBugs, soon would be there.
A crankshaft, carburetor, and big valve cylinder heads,
new parts filled my thoughts as I headed off to bed.
Parts manuals and headlights, door panels and transmission straps,
JBugs has it all, even beanies and caps.
I've been a good VW owner all of this year,
'tis time to receive some holiday cheer.
Oh please Christmas wishes, I hope you come true,
if you're shopping for me, I've left you some clues.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and all the best for the upcoming new year, to all of you, from all of us, here at JBugs.com
