Washburn's Billet VW Parking Brake Bracket - Type 1

Made in the USA
CNC milled from 7075 aluminum
Stainless steel mounting screws included

Washburn's Metal billet parking brake bracket is machined from 7075 Aluminum at their shop in Southern California. They include a steel pin, c-clips, and stainless steel counter sunk Allen head screws to attach the bracket to the tunnel. The parking brake bracket is perfect for cars with a damaged mount. Juste remove the remnants of the original parking brake bracket, drill & tap the mounting holes, and bolt on the new parking brake bracket. The machine work on the Washburn bracket is beautiful and everything fits better than original. The parking brake accepts a stock lever and is a great upgrade for a street car or dune buggy.

The Washburn billet aluminum parking brake bracket is a suitable replacement for a damaged mount on 1954-1964 Beetles, Karmann Ghias and 1962-1966 Type 3s that do not have heater control levers on the parking brake bracket. It can be used on later pans but does not have heater lever provisions.
