VW Heavy Duty Operating Shaft Fork

Full circle fork legs welded in place for a stronger hold
20mm diameter shaft, turned down to 18mm at the bellhousing

This heavy duty cross shaft, or operating fork, actuates the clutch release (throw-out) bearing in your VW transaxle. It installs into the bell housing and holds the throw-out bearing in position. The heavy duty version features full circle fork legs that are welded in place to more securely hold them to the cross shaft. The shaft is roughly 7 15/16" long with a 20mm diameter that is turned down to 18mm where it slides into the transmission bellhousing at the passenger side.
