JBugs is proud to yet again offer these American made, lightweight, high quality spun aluminum wheels. JBugs Premier Off Road Wheels are a vintage styled off road wheel made with modern techniques from a proprietary marine grade ALCOA aluminum. The wheels are made from two spun forged, US made aluminum halves. The aluminum is sourced from metal suppliers in Ohio or Pennsylvania. The thick and strong material decreases the chances of warping and deflection and makes for an ultra strong yet lightweight wheel. The forged aluminum resists damage and cracking to the ball seat lug holes and the wheels are spun into a superior bead design to maintain a positive tire bead surface. The wheel halves are welded together for a leak free seal with, or without tubes.

The wheels are popular for off road race cars in limited and short course classes, Baja Bugs, Manx style buggies, sand rails, pre-runners, and anyone that wants a high quality, light weight 4x130mm lug pattern wheel. The wheels come in a satin finish which is perfect for removing the light marks and scratches that come from machining. The 2.5" backspacing on all wheels is perfect for most off road racing and some street applications.

These wheels have been proven tough over thousands of miles off road racing. That being said, much like bead lock wheels (which are stronger than standard wheels) are sold for off road use only, so are these wheels.
