The VW Cam Bearing Set includes 6 pieces which sit in the cam bore on the engine case. The bearings fit 1972 through 1979 Type 2 Bus models and 1980 through 1983 Vanagons.



Beginner Tips:

If your looking at cam bearings, your engine is completely pulled apart or it needs to be. The cam bearings can only be installed if the case is split. That being said, this is not a job recommended for the beginner. Building or rebuilding an engine isn't something that the average beginner should be doing.

That being said, if you are diving into your VW engine, make sure to have an appropriate manual for your VW Bus handy!
