    VW Engine Case Stud Washer:

  • Sold as a set of 6 Pieces
  • Fits underneath the case half nuts and protect the magnesium case material from steel hardware.
  • Fits 1200cc (40HP) to 1600cc engines, which were used by VW in the 1961 to 1977 Standard Beetle, 1971 to 1979 Super Beetle, 1961 to 1974 Karmann Ghia, Type 2 (Bus) 1961 to 1971, 1962 to 1973 Type 3 (Notchback, Squareback, Fastback), and 1973 to 1974 Thing models.
  • Steel: 3mm thick and has an inside diameter of 12.2mm and an outside diameter of 22mm.

Works every bit as well as the original. Make certain these are cleaned and smooth so as to make certain the sealant used seals to avoid oil leaks

Beginner Tips:

The VW Engine Case Washers are used on the 6 "Main" Studs that bolt the engine case halves together. The washers are reusable but if you have lost or misplaced the originals we have the replacements.
