This VW Gas Door Handle is black and sold individually. It fits the 1968-1972 VW Standard Beetle and 1969-1974 Karmann Ghia. It is also the
Hood Release Handle for 1973-74 Things. This handle is compatible with the 111809939A or the 111809939C Standard Beetle Gas Door Release
Cable, the 141809939 Karmann Ghia Gas Door Release Cable, and the 181823531C Thing Hood Release Cable.
1968-72 Standard Beetle "Spring end cables" will use PN# 111-461 handles.
1971-72 Super Beetle "Post end cables" wll use PN# 113-461A handles.
1973-on Standard Beetle & 1973-on Super Beetles did not use gas door release cables or handles. The gas door had a finger tab used to flip open the door.
