The VW Wire Cover Knurled Nuts thread on to the wire cover studs at the bottom edge of the dash, behind the glove box and fuse box. The knurled nuts are threaded at 6x1.0mm and fit 1961 through 1969 Beetles. The knurled nuts can be used on 1956 through 1960 Beetles if 6x1.0mm studs are threaded in to the mounts on the body.
