Front Turn Signal Style Chrome Bumper for VW Beetle

Accepts VW of Mexico bumper-mounted turn signals
Single chrome plated for an economical finish
Requires turn signal style bumper brackets

This turn signal style front bumper is designed to accept VW of Mexico bumper-mounted turn signals and features a single chrome plated finish. It fits 1968 through 1973 Standard Beetles and 1971 through 1973 Super Beetles and must be used with turn signal style bumper brackets, which are sold separately. For a complete setup, bumper-mounted turn signal assemblies are also available.

Note: If you are relocating your factory turn signals from the bumpers to the fenders, you will likely need to lengthen the factory wiring harness.

Additional Info: The Mexico-style turn signal assemblies use a dual filament bulb with parallel alignment posts. U.S. spec 1157 bulbs feature offset posts but can still be used by inserting only one post to hold the bulb in place. Be sure to confirm correct alignment to ensure proper function of the turn and running lights during installation.

We put this notice on all chrome products, regardless of manufacturer, or origin.

Chrome plating is an electro-plating process that is highly regulated due to the environmental impacts of the chemicals, metals, and the exhaust gasses released during the process.

We highly recommend maintaining any chrome on your vehicle by applying a car wax or detailing spray on a regular basis

Here are some additional tips:

Hubcaps - Spray paint the inside with paint or rust inhibitor, wax chrome finish regularly
Bumpers - Spray paint the inside with paint or rust inhibitor, wax chrome finish regularly
Exterior Mirrors - Lightly wax chrome finish regularly
Exterior Chrome Trim - Lightly wax chrome finish regularly

If you properly maintain the chrome and keep your car stored in a dry, non-salty-air environment, the chrome will last.
