License Light Assembly for VW Beetle and Super Beetle

Complete assembly with housing, bulb holder, lens, and lens seal
Restores proper illumination for rear license plate
Hardware and decklid seal not included

This license light assembly replaces the factory unit and includes a new housing, bulb holder, lens, and lens seal. Designed for late-model Beetle and Super Beetle hardtops, sunroofs, and convertibles, it provides a clean, factory-style finish and reliable lighting performance. Hardware and the decklid-to-light seal must be purchased separately.

Please Note: The assemblies arrive in to us with numerous scratches in the coating, this is to be expected and why the assembly pictured above is scratched. The black finish that assembly is covered with is only meant as an rust preventative coating. The assembly should be completely sanded and necessary body work should be done before painting.

Body work will be necessary, there are numerous spot welds that hold the assembly together that should be filled either with a high build primer or a high quality body filler before painting.
