EMPI’s Billet Aluminum Crankshaft Pulley Kit includes CNC milled upper and lower pulleys, a crank bolt and spacer, an upper pulley nut, shims and a new fan belt. The crank pulley has machined timing marks at 0, 5, 10, 20 and 30 degrees and fits 1961 through 1977 Standard Beetles, 1971 through 1979 Super Beetles, 1961 through 1974 Karmann Ghias, 1961 through 1971 Type 2 Bus models and 1973 through 1974 Things with 1200cc 40 horse to 1600cc Type 1 based upright engines. The pulleys are available in hard anodized Black, Blue or Red and have CNC machined areas for a unique look.

The outer diameter of the pulley is roughly 7"/177mm. When used with the included standard sized upper pulley which has an outer diameter of 4.25"/108mm the pulley ratio is approximately 1 to 1.64. Meaning the fan will turn 1.64 times every time the cranks makes one full revolution which is very close to the factory ratio.
