Shipping & Returns

The VW Tail Pipe mounts to the damper pipe and damper pipe bracket at the left side of the stock VW Bus muffler. The tail pipe fits 1960 through 1971 VW Type 2 Bus models. The tail pipe is held to the muffler with a clamp to the damper pipe and bracket which are sold separately.

If the grey primer is not removed before installation, it will burn off in a few hours. We recommend stripping the muffler with a good solvent or sanding the paint off and then painting the muffler with a high quality, High-Temperature Exhaust Paint. None of our exhaust components are warrantied against rust.
