22.2mm(7/8")Internal Diameter (Bore Size) Dual Circuit Master Cylinder
The 1968 through 1969 Type 2 Bus Brake Master Cylinder is a high quality, German made replacement unit to ensure safe stops every time. The dual circuits on the master cylinder have separate chambers for the front and rear brakes. The new master cylinder has residual pressure valves at the front left and right and rear brake ports and accepts the stock hard brake lines. The brake fluid reservoir, grommets and brake light switches are sold separately and available in the additional options tab.A power brake bleeder is recommended when bleeding the brakes after installing a new master cylinder. This will ensure that air is fully removed from the brake system. Brake components (like most things nowadays) are made around the world, by various manufacturers. A German brake component comes from a German manufacturing company that may have numerous factories around the globe. Regardless of where the part is made, if it is labeled as a German part, it comes from a German company that has manufactured that component at a facility that is owned by them, and it is made to their high standards of quality and fitment.
