Our Bubble Top Aluminum Engine Case fits Type 1, 2 and 3 applications as it a universal style case. The universal case has mounting points
for a rear cross bar and it has a Type 3 dipstick hole which will need to be blocked off for applications not using it. The case is bored
out for 90.5 or 92mm pistons & cylinders and is clearanced for up to 86mm crankshafts. The all new engine case includes a large style oil
pick up tube and is suitable for 1776, 1904, 2007, 2110, 2161, or 2213cc with 90.5 pistons or 1835, 1968, 2074, 2180, 2234 or 2287cc engine
builds with 92mm pistons. A stock metal cam plug can be used as can aluminum o-ring versions. Bubble Top engine cases have a raised roof
and a radius design to add stregth and clearance for larger cranks. The bellhousing of the case is also filled in behind cylinder #3 for
additional strength over stock. The aluminum engine case is drilled and tapped for a full flow oil system and includes plugs for capping
them off as needed & the main oil galley is tapped for easy cleaning. 6 shuffle pins are added on the main bearing saddles for a tighter
fit and more durability and the case has 8mm case savers installed for the cylinder head studs.
Note - due to the "Bubble Top" design of the engine case, your fan shroud may have to be clearanced across the bottom edge to align with the
top of the engine case.

Aluminum engine cases are cast in a different mold than magnesium for additional strength and so the case can accept larger internal components. Aluminum cases are thicker in some areas, and due to the size differences versus the magnesium cases, will require that some engine tin pieces, fan shrouds and often times even accessories, like deep oil sumps, will have to be modified, trimmed, or clearanced so that they can be installed.
