Our 1/2" D Type Hogring Set is used with upholstery installation. The set includes a pair of Hogring Pliers and enough hogring staples for burlap and seat upholstery installation. Note: Follow instructions in Interior Installation Video for directions on when and where to use hogrings.

If you are rebuilding your seats from the frame up, you will require burlap (6 yards for Beetle, 3 yards for Ghia, 3 yards per row on Bus/Type 2, 6 yards for Type 3, and 3 yards for Thing.), seat foam pads, spray glue, and hogrings. Your existing seat pads may be re-used if they are in good condition. Use ONLY High Density Foam Pads with TMI Upholstery, -no horsehair or coco mat pads.
