The 12 Volt, 10 watt single filament interior dome light bulb is used in the interior dome light assembly and fits 1967 through 1977 Standard Beetles, 1971 through 1976 Super Beetles, 1976 through 1979 Type 2 Bus models, 1967 through 1973 Type 3 Models, 1980 through 1991 Vanagons and 1986 through 1991 Syncros. It also fits the glove box / map light in 1973 through 1974 Things.

The 12 Volt Interior Dome Light Bulb Fits:


1967-1977 Beetle - Dome Light
(Does not fit 1967-1970 Beetle Convertible)

1971-1976 Super Beetle - Dome Light
(Does not fit 1971-1979 Super Beetle Convertible)

1976-1979 Bus - Dome Light

1967-1973 Type 3 - Dome Light

1973-1974 Thing - Glove Box / Map Light

1980-1991 Vanagon - Dome Light

1986-1991 Syncro - Dome Light

The 12 volt dome light bulb can also be used in place of N177231 bulbs on earlier model VWs that have swapped to 12 volt systems.


This bulb fits our Beetle & Type 3 Dome Light Assemblyand our 1976-1979 Bus Dome Light Assembly.
