The 12 Volt, 1.2 watt single filament dash and instrument light bulb with a glass base is used in the speedometer and fuel gauge for the gauge illumination as well as the indicator bulb for the oil, generator, turn signal and high beam light. It also fit inside the Emergency / Hazard Switch knob and lights up when the switch is pulled out. The bulb fits 1967 through 1974 Karmann Ghias, 1968 through 1979 Type 2 Bus models. It also fits inside the flasher knob in the same vehicles as well as 1968 through 1977 Standard Beetles, 1971 through 1972 Super Beetles, 1968 through 1973 Type 3 models, and 1973 through 1974 Things.
