Rockford Fosgate 300 Watt, 2 Channel Punch Boosted Rail Amplifers use patented BRT (Boosted Rail Technology) for an ultra efficient design that does not use a switching power supply to generate its rated power. This allows the chassis design to be much smaller than traditional sized amplifiers. The BRT also has a variable hi-level DC offset turn-on circuit for easy installation into any OEM system. It is great for smaller stealth installations, as well as for motorcycles and recreational vehicles. This is the ideal amplifier for your classic vehicle. This amplifier offers great power in a very small footprint, measuring 6.7" x 4.2" x 1.5". Truly rated at 300 Watts, this puts out 100 Watts per channel at 4 ohms, 150 Watts at 2 ohms, and 300 Watts x 1, bridged at 4 ohms. Like all Rockford Fosgate amps, the Punch Boosted rail series amp comes with its own "birth certificate" that shows the true power output. These amplifiers only draw 8 amps of current so you do not have to worry about the amplifier draining your car's power system.
