This Red 2-Point VW lap belt is a non-retractable seat belt. It mounts on either the driver or passenger side seats. The belt webbing is red and the lift latch is chrome. This belt is easy to install and does not require drilling on virtually any car built in 1962 and later. Simply screw the bolts into the existing factory-installed threaded bolt holes on the car. This seat belt includes the mounting hardware. Be sure to check floor pans for mounting holes.

Does your car pre-date 1966?
Check the diameter of your seat belt mounting holes. This seat belt is supplied with a 7/16 fine thread bolts. Cars pre-dating 1966 use a much wider bolt. If your car uses the wide bolts, installation will require adapter plugs.

Not the original floorpans?
Check if your car has seat belt mounting holes before ordering seat belts. Factory mount locations are pictured above. Cars that have replaced floorpans, pre-66 models, and import/special edition models may not offer the factory mounting locations. If needed, new mounts are simple to make. Drill a hole in the floorpan and use included seat belt hardware kit to re-inforce mount and install seat belts.
