VW Cylinder Base Shims - 1200cc 40 Horse - 77-83mm - .010" Thick

Use to set deck height and compression ratio

The steel VW cylinder base shims allow for adjusting deck height without machine work. The shims are used to set the correct compression ratio after measuring the deck height and "CC-ing" the combustion chamber on the cylinder head. The steel cylinder shims install under 77mm or 83mm cylinders, between the cylinder and the 1200cc, 40 horse cylinder case. The shims are 0.25mm or 0.010" thick and can be used in conjuntion with additional shims as needed. The VW cylinder shims are sold as a full set of 4 pieces, one for each cylinder.
