The King Performance hard anodized black, spoked pulley kit includes a 6 spoked, 6.7" lower crank pulley and a 4.3" billet aluminum 12 volt upper pulley that features a machined face with 6 spokes. The lower crank pulley is machined for a steel hub (perfect for use with aluminum engine cases) that is held to the pulley with stainless steel Allen bolts. A stainless steel, broached crank pulley bolt and stepped washer hold the crank pulley in place. As an added bonus, King pre-drills and taps the back of the crank pulley for a Dub Shop Crank Trigger Wheel. At the alternator or generator, 6 shims are included to set the tension on the included belt and are held in place with aluminum pulley nut and washer. The pulley kit fits 1961 to 1973 Standard Beetles, 1971 to 1973 Super Beetles, 1961 to 1973 Karmann Ghias, 1973 to 1974 Things, and 1960 to 1971 Type 2 Bus models with 1200cc 40 horse to 1600cc Type 1 based engines.

King Performance proudly makes their pulleys and components in the USA with US sourced materials. Secure the crank pulley bolt with LAT Red High Strength Thread Lock and tighten it to 80 lb-ft. King includes a belt that should work for most applications, if the belt is too large or too small another belt will need to be sourced.
