I love my VWs. I wanted a sporty car, and this one has it. This car was originally owned by a teacher and sold to a military dad for his daughter. He painted it from an olive green to pearl. Then an older couple in the Carolinas purchased it and housed it in a barn. After their honey business got rolling, they needed more room for hives, so it was sold to me. I am a teacher, so it is back to spending its day in a school's parking lot. I do have to share that it did transport a few honey bees, but the drive is worth the stings. Everything is original, except for my need to replace the engine with a little more speed. It may not be pink, but it is pretty.
