I purchased my 1957 Bug in 1979 from a guy that I went to high school with. His father was a teacher there and bought it for his kids. He bought it from some other teacher who was the original owner. I remember seeing it in the parking lot.

It was my daily driver for many years. It was in my wedding and has been part of the family. The last restoration took me 4 years. I did everything except for paint and the engine.

I love VWs. I have had many and wish I still had them all, but I will always keep this one.
