I have wanted a Beetle since high school in the 70’s. l bought my Beetle last year from the original owner. She bought it new in New Orleans, and drove it to LA in 1969 after college. I call her Stinky because the brakes were paper thin they stunk up the garage until I realized what was going on. As the next custodian of this car I have been working on getting details and mechanics in order and will keep it as close to original as I can.
