VW Push Rod Tube Retaining Clip - 1700-2000cc Type 2/4 Engines

The VW pushrod tube retaining clip installs into the cylinder head in 1972 through 1979 Type 2 Bus models and 1980 through 1983 Vanagons with 1700cc, 1800cc and 2000cc Type 2 or 4 engines. At one side, the 3 edges of the clip are held in place in channels in the cylinder head and the rocker assemblies. The other side of the clip has 4 edges which press against the pushrod tubes to hold them in place. The clip is sold individually, one clip is needed per head.
