VW Cylinder Tin - Late Model Type 2 or Type 4 - Left Side

All new stampings with OE fitent
1mm thick steel
Painted semi-gloss black for OE look

EMPI engineers have released a left side, all new engine tin for your Type late model Type 2 or Type 4 engine that fits like new while protecting the 3-4 cylinder head cooling fins from debris and help to keep your engine at optimal operating temperature. The left side tins haven't been made new for years, so the EMPI team used 3D scanning to create SolidWorks CAD renderings. Then they 3D printed prototypes for extensive testing to verify the fitment. The all new left side Type 2 or 4 cylinder tins are stamped in 1mm thick sheet steel which is painted semi-gloss black. Welded M6X1.0 nuts are installed for secure mounting. The tin has additional OE apertures for spark plugs and cylinder head temperature sensors and caps are included for to keep the engine tin sealed and gap free.

Of course the all new EMPI Type 2 & 4 cylinder tin is compatible with EMPI's Super Vee performance cylinder heads, like those installed on the EMPI 914.
