VW Steering Coupler

The VW Steering Coupler or rag joint fits 1954 through 1977 Beetles, 1956 through 1974 Karmann Ghia, 1962 through 1973 Type 3s, 1973-1974 Things, 1980 through 1991 Vanagons and 1986 through 1991 Syncros. The steering coupler or rag joint connects the steering column to the steering box on 1979 and earlier models. Vanagons and Syncros use 3 steering coupler discs. Part number 251419417B is the new superceded part number for the 111415417, the two are interchangeable.
