Rear Axle Seal Kit for VW Swing Axle Models

Includes gaskets, o-rings, seal, washer, and cotter pin
Seals one side of swing axle transmission
Washer may not be used on swing axle setups

The VW Rear Axle Seal Kit includes 2 paper gaskets, an axle seal, a large and small o-ring, washer and an axle nut cotter pin. The axle seal kit fits one side, 2 kits are needed per vehicle if you have a swingaxle tranmission. 1968 IRS Autostick Beetles and Karmann Ghias, 1968 IRS Automatic Type 3s and 1969 and later IRS model Beetles, Karmann Ghias and Type 3s will need an inner wheel (axle) seal as well. The washer isn't typically used, for swing axle models we recommend using your original oil deflect washer.

The inner wheel seal (P/N 113501315G) is sold individually, 2 are needed per vehicle.
