These black coat hooks install on the B pillar over the top of the assist strap, behind the door opening. They provide a place to hang a hanger. These were originally used in 1960-1967 Beetles but can be used in 1956-1959 Beetles if the 113857635A mounting plate is used. Original Part # 113857637A
