The VW left outer tie rod end connects the driver (left) side control arm to the pitman arm (aka steering knuckle). It fits 1946 to May 1968 Standard Beetle and 1956 to
May 1968 Karmann Ghia models. Tie rods are named for their function. They tie together the steering components. The tie rods carry the energy from the steering box to the
control arms, which allows the driver to use the steering wheel in the cabin to turn the vehicle. Sold individually and includes 17mm lock nut for mounting.
10x1.25mm Threaded End (bolts to spindle / pitman arm, etc)
14x1.5mm LHT (threads into tie rod sleeve)
