VW Ignition Lock Cylinder With Keys

Installs into the steering column lock assembly
Does not directly turn the car on, it operates the ignition switch below

This ignition lock cylinder comes with 2 keys and installs into the steering column lock assembly. The lock cylinder does turn the car on directly; it operates the ignition switch which sits below the steering column lock. If your key currently can be inserted into the lock assembly and can be twisted, your key and lock assembly are fine. The current aftermarket lock cylinders must be modified slightly as they no longer have the cut out for the steering column lock pin. It is easy to duplicate the cut out with a grinder and cut off wheel.
