Our 1968.5 (May of 1968) and earlier Drop Spindle kit includes brand new drop spindles, 1968.5 and later outer tie rod ends, bearings and seals. The kit is perfect for 1966 through 1968.5 Beetles and Karmann Ghias that want to lower the front of their car 2 1/2" and run drum brakes. These forged drop spindles feature 1/4" outwards offset. These drop spindles are made for use with stock shocks. Wheel clearance is usually not an issue but double check the backspacing of your wheels carefully.
Drop Spindles are not compatible with Super Beetles!
