This front axle beam from Latest Rage is made of heavy duty SAE 1010 steel tubing. It is 6" wider than the stock link pin beam originally produced by Volkswagen and has 10" taller shock towers. Installing this beam in a car with a link pin front end may require slight modifications to the body/chassis of the vehicle. Trailing arm bushings are sold separately and can be found under P/N 16-5144.

Note: Zerk fittings are not included and your original fittings may not fit the replacement beam. New Zerk fittings (5/16-18 thread) can be easily sourced from your local auto part store.

We recommend customers purchase 6" Wider Than Stock Heavy Duty Torsion Leaves with this beam (2 sets are required per beam). For coil over applications, through rods must be used to hold the trailing arms to the beam instead of torsion leaves.
