Now that our 1967 VW Beetle is driving Sam ties up some loose ends including fixing a pesky leak in the master cylinder, fixing the shifter, and getting the trunk dialed in.
Progress continues on our 1967 VW Beetle including tarboards for the floors, new front and rear window seals and trim, running boards, and fender beading.
We're on the final stretch with the days counting down and work nearing an end. Sam gets the bumpers installed along with new decklid, hood, and door seals.
We are closing in on our deadline for the VW Round Up car show. Sam gets the doors of this Beetle back in shape and installs all new door panels from TMI.
Sam gets back to work on our 1967 VW Beetle. He rebuilds the seats, covers them in new TMI Sport Upholstery, and installs new seat belts.
Sam makes some last minute fixes with just hours to go. He rebuilds the speedometer and installs a new speedometer cable and, after some trial and error, installs a new electric fuel pump.
Watch as Sam takes this 1967 VW Beetle on her maiden voyage to the VW Airhead Campers VW Roundup in Florence, AZ. The trip is 94 miles each way. Will she make it?
