The 10x70mm Metric Zinc Plated Bolt has a 10x1.5mm pitch. The bolt has a 17mm head size, for a 17mm wrench or socket.
The 10x70 bolt is the upper engine bolt opposite from the starter side. It runs through the transmission to the engine case and is held in place with either a 10x1.5mm Nut (pre-71) or a captive nut behind the oil cooler (71-later).

The “D” Starter Bolt inserts through the starter, transmission, and engine case.
The flat side of "D" bolt head rest against the starter which prevents it from spinning while bolting down. It is held in place with a 10 X 1.5 mm nut.
The Upper Engine Bolt installs through the transmission to the engine block.
On pre 1971 models it threads into a loose 10 X 1.5 mm nut. On '71-later models it threads into the captive nut which is attached behind the oil cooler.
2 Engine Case Mounting Studs are used at the bottom of the transmission bell housing.
Depending on the year, either 3 or 4 10 X 1.5 mm nuts are used to attach the engine to transmission.
