We're starting off the revival if you will of this 1970 VW Karmann Ghia with the most tedious portion, the headliner. The job itself isn't necessarily all that difficult, other than working above your head for a good portion of the task, which can be tiring.

We're installing the carpet in this 1970 Ghia. The task isn't all that difficult, just make sure to do it in a well ventilated area as glue fumes can be overwhelming, and flammable, so no open flames!

In this video we'll install new tweed door panels, and reinstall the later model padded dashboard.

We begin by removing the original seat covers and padding and showing how the original upholstery was installed. Then, while the paint is drying on the exposed areas on the seat frame, we recover the headrests.

We are wrapping up the installation of all the control cables on the chassis for our 1971 Euro Look Super Beetle. First we re-install the disc brake conversion kit parking brake cables, and the handle. Then we install the rear foot well control and heater box cables and levers.

We've cleaned up, degreased and painted the original pedal assembly, along with the original hardware and we show how to assembly the pedals and install them in the chassis. Then we'll run new cables and we use the clutch cable access hole we cut in to make things much easier.

With most of the factory wiring for our Super Beetle finished, we'll get to work on adding the wiring for our stereo and amplifiers.

Speaker Kick Panels are our favorite way to mount front speakers in Vintage VWs.

Now that we've got our speaker kick panels mounted, all of our stereo wiring run and the carpet padding is in, we can install a front carpet kit.

We can't wait to get the seats installed in our 1971 Super Beetle but before we can, we need to button up all the stuff under the rear seat.
