The difference between premium and standard are the heater grommets, emergency brake boot with heater control knob, and vinyl inserts. Vinyl edged inserts for the gear shift and emergency brake boot and heater control knob leaves you with a precise fit.

Installing sound deadening isn't something that most people consider when doing a restoration, and it isn't something that you can typically see once the car is assembled. Just the same, it can make a world of difference in the way your car sounds and feels when you sit inside, close the door, turn the engine on and turn up the stereo.

Installing headliner padding, like the sound deadening we just installed, isn't required to install a headliner but it does make a huge difference in not only the sound of your Beetle interior, but more importantly the looks.

We'll show how with some patience and the right technique, just about anyone can install their own headliner. Our tech will go over the steps and cover tips that we've used for decades that have saved us time and most importantly money versus taking our cars to an upholstery shop.

Installing a padded dashboard is something that a lot of people have a hard time with. It requires test fitting, trimming, test fitting, heating and shaping, test fitting, and gluing to get right.

This video will cover removing the dash and a number of items in the trunk that make removing the dash easier. Keep in mind we're tearing down our car to a bare body so somethings we remove aren't part of removing the dash, but they do make the job easier.

Our seats and most of the headliner and carpet had already been removed but we'll complete the disassembly by removing all the parts from inside the car short of the dash components.

We are wrapping up the installation of all the control cables on the chassis for our 1971 Euro Look Super Beetle. First we re-install the disc brake conversion kit parking brake cables, and the handle. Then we install the rear foot well control and heater box cables and levers.

We've cleaned up, degreased and painted the original pedal assembly, along with the original hardware and we show how to assembly the pedals and install them in the chassis. Then we'll run new cables and we use the clutch cable access hole we cut in to make things much easier.

With most of the factory wiring for our Super Beetle finished, we’ll get to work on adding the wiring for our stereo and amplifiers.

Speaker Kick Panels are our favorite way to mount front speakers in Vintage VWs.

Now that we've got our speaker kick panels mounted, all of our stereo wiring run and the carpet padding is in, we can install a front carpet kit.

We can't wait to get the seats installed in our 1971 Super Beetle but before we can, we need to button up all the stuff under the rear seat.

In this video we're going to install the rear quarter panels and the front door panels.

Seat belts aren't one of the first things you think about when you start planning out a restoration.

The rear seat takes more than just upholstery as it is also can serve as a platform if the backrest is folded down.

The stock front seats were reusable but we wanted something a little more modern so we special ordered up a set of TMI Pro Series seats to match our rear upholstery.

Vintage cars especially almost seem to require a good sound system as there isn’t much better than going for a weekend cruise

We'll install the glove box along with the hood release lever, cable and catch. We'll also install a new fuel tank, along with the fuel filler neck, vent lines, hoses, sending unit and the fuel door on the body.

Starting with the door molding and quarter windows, and finishing with the headliner. We'll remove all the pieces and components needed to get this VW ready for a new interior.

We're starting off the revival if you will of this 1970 VW Karmann Ghia with the most tedious portion, the headliner. The job itself isn't necessarily all that difficult, other than working above your head for a good portion of the task, which can be tiring.

We're installing the carpet in this 1970 Ghia. The task isn't all that difficult, just make sure to do it in a well ventilated area as glue fumes can be overwhelming, and flammable, so no open flames!

In this video we'll install new tweed door panels, and reinstall the later model padded dashboard.

We begin by removing the original seat covers and padding and showing how the original upholstery was installed. Then, while the paint is drying on the exposed areas on the seat frame, we recover the headrests.
