Originally from Sacramento, CA, this Bug moved to Las Vegas in 2000. I bought it from a friend ,George, who recently passed away.

I married my wife, Clare, in 2000. She owned a yellow ‘71 Super Bug on Guam in 1971-1972. She always spoke dearly of her VW.

I found this yellow ‘71 Beetle in Las Vegas in 2020. I restored it frame up in 12 months and installed a GEX 1904cc, 110 hp engine. All rubbers, upholstery, interior, suspension, wheels, caps, rings, all-wheel disc brakes, chrome trim, parts, and Rockford Fosgate 300-watt sound system came from JBugs!

I am shipping the Bug to Guam in 2023 as a surprise 23rd wedding anniversary gift! I watched all of Sam’s restoration videos. Kudos to Marila and Jonny at JBugs sales! Thanks guys!
