I bought my ‘68 Bug in October of 2019. It’s the first VW I’ve owned and my first attempt at fixing up a car. I wanted something to tinker with, off and on.

Then the pandemic hit and I had lots of time. My goal was to turn a non-runner into a runner/driver. I hated every minute of it but it was the most fun I’ve ever had!! I gutted the interior and fixed the rust issues, sound proofed, and installed a new interior from TMI, including headliner. The exterior paint was in terrible condition so I did a fauxtina paint job and have made it into a daily driver.

I’ve now got the VW fever and recently bought a 1973 Bay Window to do the same. Just got to love the simplicity of VWs.
