Here is our 1979 Convertible Beetle. It is a triple-black “Epilog” Beetle (last year sold in US). The car was partially-stripped when I bought it. I sanded it down to bare metal and then arranged for a friend of a friend to paint it. The result is a numbers-matching convertible that turns a lot of heads whenever I take it out.
